Abstract This new case study shows how Unilever works in multistakeholder partnerships to develop sustainable business models in tea. Models that have environmental, social and economical pay offs, while ensuring the financial and longer-term sustainability of the tea sector. The study offers successes and lessons learned in reaching out to smallholders. The study is part 2 of a series on mainstreaming sustainable tea.
