| Abstract | The We Won’t Accept Hunger project aims to inspire individuals and groups across Europe to take actions that contribute to the aim of halving hunger by 2015, and build public support for the campaign against hunger and poverty. Participants are encouraged to take part in existing campaigns to raise public awareness, or to organise their own. This project proposes innovative and creative approaches to putting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) – the fight against poverty and hunger – firmly in the minds of people in Europe and on the agenda of politicians and policy-makers, in the run up to the 2015 deadline that was set for achieving the goals. This toolkit is a key part of the We Won’t Accept Hunger project. |
