| Abstract | This report discusses the results of the regional seminar "Southern Africa, trade and economic development. Special focus: agriculture" that was held in Capte Town in March 2007. The main topic discussed was parliamentary action in support of the NEPAD Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). A regional parliamentary Action Plan for southern Africa "Framework for Parliamentary Action on CAADP" was adopted, which will serve as basis for discussion in subsequent regional seminars. |
