| Samenvatting | One trend that has rapidly established itself in international health and other sectors is that of Global Public-Private Initiatives (GPPIs). The creation of this form of collaboration or partnership between a UN body and a national government (the public bodies) and corporations, foundations and NGOs (the private parties), is intended to tackle the enormous health problems in poor countries. Wemos decided to promote carrying out case studies aimed at better understanding the way these initiatives work at field level and their effects on local health systems. This is an executive summary of the report on the implementation of four GPPIs in five African countries and three Indian states |
