SamenvattingOne of the UN Millennium Development Goals is the achievement of universal primary education by 2015. All parties involved in accomplishing that goal – nations, politicians, local communities and NGOs – are facing multiple and complex challenges, particularly in the way they relate to each other and to the individuals concerned. It is thus essential that the means used to address these challenges be not simply effective, but also relevant and sustainable.
