SamenvattingIn this report you will find an analysis of Dutch policy and legislation regarding disaster response in The Netherlands, reviewed in light of the Guidelines for the Domestic and Regulation of International Disaster Relief and Initial Recovery Assistance (the IDRL Guidelines). The main question of the report: is The Netherlands prepared legally to request and receive international disaster response in an efficient and orderly way? This report is one element of a broader project being undertaken by the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the National Red Cross Societies of Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom to study EU and EU Member States’ regulations for cross-border assistance within Europe.
