| Samenvatting | This report presents the results of a project that uses ICT for strengthening secondary education in Burkina Faso. The aims of the project were: (1) capacity development of all stakeholders; (2) the development of teaching material; (3) advocacy to encourage decision-makers to promote ICT in education; (4) improving access to Internet and equipment; and (5) the use of educational technologies for administering the courses. It was found that it is very important to involve the school leadership in the programme. The existence of a sector programme to enhance the use of ICT in education was found to be equally important. |
