For years, ICCO has endeavoured to make the international market for cotton and clothing more sustainable, more environmentally friendly, and fairer. The point of departure is fair trade, rather than development aid. ICCO furthermore has access to a substantial network that can be used by producers and importers of sustainable cotton to do business with each other.
