| Samenvatting | This policy letter discusses the external programme evaluation of Cordaid’s, Hivos’, ICCO’s, and Oxfam Novib’s contribution to the microfinance sector for the period 2003 – 2007. The aim of the evaluation was to gain insight in the extent to which these co‐financing agencies (CFAs) have contributed to building sustainable and socially performing microfinance institutions during the period 2003 – 2007, for the sake of accountability and to draw lessons for the future. |
