SamenvattingCurrent trends in technology development with military applications are expected to have considerable implications for world peace and human rights in the coming five to ten years. In this report we distinguish trends in weapons of mass destruction, developments in network centric warfare, and non-lethal weapons. These trends and potential impact on human rights and principles of the just war tradition are explored and contrasted with the existing vision of Pax Christi on human dignity and human security as well as arms control and disarmament.
