| Samenvatting | This brochure “Enough water for everyone” highlights the work of the Dutch Interchurch Organization for Development Co-operation ICCO in the field of water supply and utilizaiton. When it comes to water, ICCO mainly works in Africa and Asia. With its water programmes ICCO contributes to the Millennium Development Goals, number seven of which is: reduce by half the proportion of people without sustainable access to safe drinking water before 2015. Equitable economic development is seriously hampered by the inequitable distribution of water. Women and children suffer the most from water shortages. |
